The pictures belonging to this collection were taken in the summer of the year 2014 during the most important festival in Kyoto, Japan: The “Ghion Matsuri”.
This project is about intimate pictures of moments and people, highlighted and pinpointed situations in a sea of crowd.
Each picture is produced in limited edition with only 12 prints per shot available.
This particular collection hasn’t been presented or exhibited yet.
It’s about my love for people, traditions and folklore.
It is also about light and shadow, it’s about “Chiaroscuro”, it’s about the non-obvious, it’s about little details, facial expressions and human interaction.
It is also about my deep love for Japan on my purpose to highlight its uniqueness, its difference, its anomaly, its mystery, its history and its people.
